Our Mission

EPRS Services, Inc is a non-profit organization that was established in 2017.  Our mission is to provide mental health support and social services primarily to individuals residing in North Carolina.  However, some of our services are available to individuals who live in other states.  We provide mental health support and social services by educating, consulting, researching, making referrals, and offering financial assistance.

Our Story

EPRS Services, Inc. was founded by Tijuana Adams, a licensed Psychotherapist. Tijuana has always had a passion for helping others.  Thus, in 1994, she began her professional career as a Behavioral Programming Specialist II in Health and Human Services where she first served dually diagnosed individuals (i.e., Intellectually or Developmentally Disabled/Mentally Ill) residing at a residential treatment facility.  While working in this setting, Tijuana was introduced to the mental health treatment process.  This process consisted of various facets.  Throughout her professional career in mental health, Tijuana has observed how this process has impacted the lives of individuals. This is what compelled her to have the desire to educate individuals in the community about this process.  Moreover, other areas of interest have captivated Tijuana’s attention throughout the years (e.g., facilitating psycho-educational support groups, providing consultation to college students, providing financial support to individuals, etc.). Thus, in 2017, EPRS Services, Inc. was formed that addressed all of Tijuana’s interests.
